A recent decree published in the Diário da República reveals that the total funding for this support has increased from 543,000 euros to 2.1 million euros.
This support, intended for livestock producers whose farms were affected by wildfires, is designated for purchasing animal feed.
The increase in funding is attributed to the “high level of adherence observed.”
The decree, signed by the Minister of Agriculture and Sea, José Manuel Fernandes, takes effect this Friday.
