Two teenagers, aged 18 and 17, along with two young women aged 25, were arrested for thefts at commercial establishments in the municipality of Loulé on April 2.
The arrests followed a “report of theft at a commercial establishment,” stated the National Republican Guard (GNR) in a statement released on Friday.
“During the operation, it was discovered that the stolen goods, including various clothing items, footwear, and cosmetic products, were inside the vehicle the suspects were using,” the statement added.
The four suspects were already “known for committing the same offense in other municipalities,” warned the GNR.
The detainees were charged, and the case was forwarded to the Judicial Court of Loulé.
This operation was carried out by the Territorial Command of Faro, through the Loulé Territorial Post.
