The Guarda Nacional Republicana (GNR) arrested three men and one woman, aged between 18 and 38 years, on Thursday for thefts carried out on agricultural properties in the municipality of Vila Velha de Ródão, Castelo Branco district.
In a statement released Friday, the GNR noted that the arrests followed an investigation into several thefts occurring on agricultural properties.
“The military police conducted various procedures that allowed them to identify the suspects, leading to the execution of three search warrants on vehicles and four arrest warrants for the suspects,” the statement read.
The detainees have been named defendants and are to appear in the Castelo Branco Judicial Court for the imposition of bail conditions.
