Four people were left homeless in Arrifana, Santa Maria da Feira, after a residential fire completely destroyed two semi-detached houses, according to a source from the Aveiro GNR.
The alert was raised at 2:28 PM, and the fire reportedly spread through the common roof.
Three of the displaced individuals will stay with relatives, while the fourth will be housed in accommodation provided by the City Council, the source added.
No injuries were reported.
Firefighters from Arrifana and São João da Madeira battled the blaze, according to a source from the Sub-Regional Command of the Porto Metropolitan Area.
