
The Alto Alentejo Sub-regional Command for Emergency and Civil Protection reported that as of 8:50 a.m., four victims with severe injuries had been transported by firefighters to Portalegre Hospital.
The other two injured individuals are still being assessed at the accident site.
The National Emergency and Civil Protection Authority (ANEPC) stated that by 8:30 a.m., 35 personnel were on site, supported by 15 vehicles, with extrication teams involved.
The official website of ANEPC indicates that the alert for the accident in the parish of Barbacena – Vila Fernando was received at 07:04 a.m.
