Four young individuals were arrested by the Sines Territorial Post officers in Setúbal district last Friday and have been charged with suspicions of participating in two public robberies involving violence, as stated by the Setúbal Territorial Command of the National Republican Guard (GNR).
The GNR reported that the group, consisting of five members (one yet unidentified), attacked two victims at different times using a “stick” in the early hours of the past 9th of this month.
Police efforts successfully confirmed the “identity of the suspects involved in the robberies,” who were subsequently “located and charged.”
During the operation, military personnel discovered that the suspects had stolen two mobile phones, a watch, a bracelet, and 300 euros in cash from the victims.
The case has been forwarded to the Santiago do Cacém Judicial Court.
