The Argentine artist Nathy Peluso is set to make her debut at the Passeio Marítimo de Algés on July 10, performing on the Heineken Stage during the 17th edition of NOS Alive.
“In this debut at Passeio Marítimo de Algés, Nathy Peluso arrives with ‘GRASA’ (2024), the latest album that showcases a more mature artist, unafraid and willing to reveal her vulnerability and the complexities of fame,” stated Everything is New in a press release.
This phase of Nathy Peluso’s career “dives deeply into the challenges of ambition and success, addressing without filters the creative crises, sacrifices, and growing pains that accompany stardom.”
Her debut album, ‘Calambre’ (2020), “catapulted Nathy Peluso to fame and success, winning the ‘Best Alternative Album’ award at the Latin GRAMMYs in 2021.” She also performed at Coachella, in two completely sold-out Movistar Arenas in Buenos Aires, and all over Spain, which “came at a personal cost.”
“This is part of me, I am a strong woman, but I lost touch with my own humanity,” she admitted, referring to the self-imposed standards which, compounded by industry pressures and a series of romantic disappointments, left her emotionally drained.
“At the heart of ‘GRASA’ is a woman who challenges conventions and redefines success. It is a manifesto on resilience, authenticity, and the need to find a balance between ambition and well-being, solidifying Nathy Peluso as one of today’s most innovative voices, an artist unafraid to expose her vulnerabilities while continuing to expand the horizons of Latin music,” summarized the promoter.
The NOS Alive 2025 will take place between July 10 and 12, and tickets are already on sale at the usual outlets.
