This week marks a rise in fuel prices affecting both diesel and gasoline.
The Automobile Club of Portugal (ACP) has indicated that the price of diesel is expected to increase by between 1.5 and 2 cents, while the price of gasoline will rise by 4 cents.
According to the Directorate-General for Energy and Geology (DGEG), as of Friday (March 28), the average price of a liter of diesel in Portugal was 1.581 euros, while gasoline was priced at 1.71 euros per liter.
“It is also observable that, compared to August 1, 2024, current prices show an increase of 2.1 cents for diesel and a decrease of 0.6 cents for gasoline,” noted the ACP.
Therefore, “if the forecasts for next week are confirmed, the average price of standard diesel should range between 1.596 and 1.601 €/l, while standard gasoline 95 will likely rise to 1.75 €/l.”
