The prices of both diesel and gasoline increased at the beginning of this week,.
Regular gasoline 95 rose from 1.708 euros per liter to 1.745 euros per liter between Friday and Monday, marking an increase of 3.7 cents.
In contrast, regular diesel climbed from 1.579 euros per liter to 1.598 euros per liter during the same period, translating to an increase of 1.9 cents, according to average prices published by the Directorate-General for Energy and Geology (DGEG).
Forecasts suggested that diesel prices would rise between 1.5 and 2 cents, while gasoline prices were expected to increase by 4 cents.
