
The São José Local Health Unit reported that the Moroccan patient, the last to be transferred from the accident, remains hospitalized in the Lisbon hospital. This facility treated nine individuals injured in the September 3 incident: five seriously injured and four with minor injuries.
On Friday, São José also announced that a German patient, previously in intensive care following the Elevador da Glória derailment, has been transferred to a healthcare facility in their home country.
Also on Friday, a German patient from Santa Maria Hospital was repatriated.
Santa Maria received eight injured on the day of the accident, with one woman still in intensive care but reportedly stable and improving.
At São Francisco Xavier Hospital, two individuals remain in intensive care: a South Korean woman and a young Portuguese woman in critical condition, while another injured woman has been moved to a general ward.
Amadora-Sintra Hospital continues to treat an orthopedic patient, transferred from São José in the days following the accident, who is expected to be discharged soon, according to hospital sources.
The Elevador da Glória, managed by Carris under municipal oversight, derailed on September 3, resulting in 16 deaths and approximately 20 injuries, involving both Portuguese and foreign nationals. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
