The military unit of the Guarda National Republicana (GNR) confiscated 205 doses of hashish, 173 doses of cocaine, and 26 doses of cannabis, alongside two firearms, a replica firearm, 39 rounds of ammunition, 13 mobile phones, five precision scales, four cutting knives, and approximately 3,000 euros.
In a statement, the GNR indicated that as part of this drug trafficking investigation, the Criminal Investigation Unit (NIC) of Arcos de Valdevez executed 17 search warrants, conducting ten searches in residences and seven in vehicles across three localities.
The individuals detained have been named as defendants, and the authorities have reported the facts to the Judicial Court of Viana do Castelo.
The operation was bolstered by the NIC units from Viana do Castelo and Valença, as well as territorial detachments from Arcos de Valdevez, Viana do Castelo, and Valença. Support was also provided by the Intervention Detachment of Viana do Castelo, the Canine Section of the Braga Territorial Command, and the Public Security Police of Viana do Castelo.
