The National Republican Guard (GNR) has recovered three industrial machines in the municipality of Alenquer, which had been stolen in Spain. A 42-year-old man has been named as a suspect in the theft.
In a statement released to the press on Thursday, the GNR reported that, in collaboration with the Spanish Civil Guard, police operations were carried out on March 15 as part of an investigation into the theft of the industrial machinery that occurred in Spain.
The operations led to the recovery of the stolen goods, valued at over 127,000 euros, in the town of Merceana.
The suspect has been named in the case, and the details have been forwarded to the Alenquer Judicial Court.
