The National Republican Guard (GNR) announced that the “RoadPol — Heavy Goods and Passenger Vehicles” operation aims to prevent accidents involving these types of vehicles.
The operation will be conducted on mainland roads identified as critical and experiencing high traffic volumes of such vehicles.
This initiative is part of the European Road Policing Network (RoadPol), for which the GNR serves as the national representative. The operation is designed to enhance road safety and ensure compliance with road regulations.
The GNR stated, “This action aims to raise public awareness about the importance of adopting safer behaviors among professional drivers, with a view to promoting road safety and preserving human lives.”
