Between May 28 and June 4, spiral pasta experienced the most substantial percentage price rise, now priced at 1.24 euros, up 15 cents from the previous week (13%). Hake medallions, now costing 6.96 euros, increased by 79 cents (13%), and crustless sandwich bread is priced at 2.55 euros, a 28-cent increase (13%).
The top 10 products with the highest price increases include gala apples (11%), red potatoes (8%), golden apples (7%), extra virgin olive oil (6%), salmon (5%), fiber cereals (5%), and butter beans (5%).
The monitored basket features meat, frozen goods, fruits and vegetables, dairy, groceries, and fish, including products like turkey, chicken, mackerel, hake, onions, potatoes, carrots, bananas, apples, oranges, rice, spaghetti, sugar, ham, milk, cheese, and butter.
