By 07:45 (06:45 in Lisbon), gold’s rise had slightly diminished to 1.06%, moving momentarily away from its peak and standing at 3,931.83 dollars.
Massive purchases by central banks, the weakness of the dollar, and the geopolitical context are driving the increase in gold, which has appreciated nearly 50% this year.
