The ministry led by Dalila Rodrigues announced that these appointments were made during a management period at the express and urgent request of the chair of that administrative board, ensuring the regular functioning of the foundation.
According to the biographical notes accompanying the announcement, Paula Ferreira served as a judge from 1999 to 2016 and is currently an administrator at Media Capital. She also holds the positions of vice-president at Mário Ferreira’s Pluris Investments and executive director at MysticInvest Holding, where she is responsible for legal affairs as ‘chief legal officer’ and for human resources as ‘chief human resources officer’ at DouroAzul.
Economist and former PSD deputy Luís Menezes currently serves as the CEO of Grupo Ageas Portugal.
Former Minister of Culture Isabel Pires de Lima is the current chair of the board of directors of the Serralves Foundation, succeeding Ana Pinho, who transitioned to chair the institution’s Founders’ Council in 2024.
The two state representatives on the foundation’s board were the last needed members to complete the board for the 2025-2027 period. The board also includes Manuel Sobrinho Simões, Fernando Cunha Guedes, Tomás Jervell, Armando Cabral, Luís Silva Santos, and Maria do Carmo Oliveira.
