António Leitão Amaro addressed the parliament regarding the detailed discussion of the State Budget proposal for 2026 (OE2026) during a joint hearing of the Culture, Communication, Youth and Sports, Budget, Finance and Public Administration Committees.
Following the initial phase of voluntary redundancies, where 97 workers left RTP, the government has approved an extension, involving another 41 employees. For this phase and a future third phase, agreed with RTP’s Board of Directors to be launched, the exit-to-entry ratio has been adjusted from four-to-one, the minister explained.
