According to António Leitão Amaro, speaking at a press conference following the council of ministers, eight million euros are allocated for standard and high-performance computing equipment for the GNR and the PSP.
Nine million euros will be used for the repair and maintenance of PSP vehicles, he stated, adding that another nine million will be allocated for acquiring a coastal patrol vessel for the GNR.
In addition to these investments in security forces, an expenditure of approximately 10 million euros was approved for physical and surface control equipment for the Institute of Financing of Agriculture and Fisheries, Leitão Amaro announced.
