“These speedboats should not and do not have a place in Portugal as instruments of crime, and as such, we have created this regime to prevent (…) speedboats, high-speed vessels, from being instruments of crime,” stated the Minister of the Presidency, António Leitão Amaro, during a press conference.
As this is a draft law, the diploma still needs to be approved by the Assembly of the Republic.
