At a press conference following the Cabinet meeting, the official announced the continuation of a policy initiated by the previous administration.

“As you know, by the decision of the previous Government—by this same prime minister, but a decision made prior—free textbooks are provided to students in both public and private schools, including those with association contracts,” stated Leitão Amaro.
