The proposed legislation presented today includes a repeal clause for the additional solidarity tax on the banking sector.
This means the Government will eliminate this extraordinary tax on banks next year. The Constitutional Court had previously deemed parts of this regime unconstitutional, citing violations of principles such as tax equality and tax capacity.
