The tax burden reduction in July will be 25 cents per liter of diesel and 27 cents per liter of gasoline.
The government is keeping the discount on the tax on oil products (ISP) for fuels unchanged this month, updating the carbon tax by two cents on diesel and 1.8 cents on gasoline, announced the Ministry of Finance.
In July the ISP discount translates into 13.1 cents per liter for diesel and 15.3 cents per liter for gasoline, to which is added the update – two cents on diesel and 1.8 cents on gasoline – of the addition on CO2 emissions (carbon tax), which began in May.
The reduction in the tax burden in July, according to the statement, will be 25 cents per liter of diesel and 27 cents per liter of gasoline.
In June, the reduction had been 28 cents per liter of diesel and 30 cents per liter of gasoline.
