The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed its commitment to the protection of all human rights in a Facebook post.
“Today, on International Human Rights Day and 77 years after the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the values of freedom, equality, and human dignity remain non-negotiable,” the statement read.
The Ministry further emphasized that “defending human rights is a collective responsibility,” aiming to “build a better future for everyone.”
This day, established by the UN, is intended to mark the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) on December 10, 1948.
