ADEN, the Agency for Energy, has reported significant progress in the ECO.AP 2030 Program during the first quarter of 2025. This program serves as a strategic tool for reducing carbon emissions and enhancing resource efficiency within the public administration, operationally supported by ADENE.

The agency highlighted the enrollment of an additional 54 Energy and Resource Managers (GER) and a rise in registrations with the ECO.AP Barometer. More than 3,587 vehicles from Central Public Administration and 29 new photovoltaic systems, along with 13 thermal solar systems, have been recorded. These figures, according to ADENE, demonstrate the public sector’s rapid shift towards energy transition and the adoption of sustainable solutions, aligning with ECO.AP 2030’s objectives.

Key highlights include an increase in renewable energy installations, with 29 photovoltaic system installations and 13 thermal solar systems. The agency also noted enhanced training and capacity-building efforts, involving 1,830 individuals across 40 awareness and training sessions. This initiative has also led to improved qualifications with 54 new Energy and Resource Managers, raising the total to 571.
