The investments to be made in the properties to be transferred will focus on several governmental areas, including the economy, tourism, housing, education, social action, culture, agriculture, and forests.
“In the municipality of Sintra, one of the properties involved is the former Sintra 3 Finance Service, where a Training and Citizenship Space aimed at the most vulnerable public will be established,” the statement read.
Several municipalities, including Arcos de Valdevez, Arganil, Bragança, Castro Verde, Chaves, Figueira da Foz, Fornos de Algodres, Lisboa, Mangualde, Mira, Mogadouro, São Brás de Alportel, Sintra, Tomar, Torre de Moncorvo, Viana do Castelo, Vila do Conde, Vila Nova da Barquinha, and Vila Pouca de Aguiar, will receive these state buildings.
The agreements will be signed this afternoon at the Queluz Palace in Sintra, with attendees including the Secretary of State for Treasury and Finance, João Silva Lopes, and the Minister of Infrastructure and Housing, Miguel Pinto Luz.
