
CP – Comboios de Portugal has launched a new phase of its digital transformation by introducing a range of features on its website and the CP App, aimed at significantly enhancing customer experience, the company announced in a statement.
Infrastructure and Housing Minister Pinto Luz stated that following the introduction of the green railway pass, which already has over 500,000 users, this marks another step in a “revolution that is taking place.”
The newly announced features include the ability to buy tickets online without needing to log in, and a revamped customer area (myCP) that now allows for simpler management of requests and travel.
Customers can use the website to request the CP or Navegante card by using the Digital Mobile Key.
The company’s application now also offers the CP card and the green railway pass.
The app will additionally provide real-time travel information.
