Four parks located in different regions of Poland have an installed production capacity of 33.2 megawatts (MW) and are reported to be in various stages of development, as stated by Greenvolt.
Included in this portfolio of parks to be sold is the Skibno park, situated in the northwest of the country, which is already operational with an installed capacity of 10 MW.
“In a construction phase, with operational start dates anticipated for 2026, are three projects equipped with Vestas V110 turbines, one of the most advanced technologies available in the market,” the statement specifies, noting that the Zaklików park, located in the Subcarpathian region, has an installed capacity of 10 MW.
Meanwhile, the parks Nowe Miasto Lucawskie and Jablonowo Pomorskie, both in the north of the country, each have a production capacity of 6.6 MW.
In the statement, João Manso Neto, CEO of Greenvolt, notes that the sale of this portfolio of four wind farms confirms Greenvolt’s capability in executing and delivering large-scale energy assets, as well as its ability to value and sell them.
João Manso Neto also recalls that in April, the company announced the completion of two transactions totaling 250 million euros, fulfilling the Group’s strategy that includes selling such projects at different implementation phases.
The manager referred to the completion, in April, of the sale of the Sompolno hybrid project and the Pelplin wind farm, the latter sold to the same entity now acquiring this latest portfolio, Enea Nowa Energia. These two transactions resulted in a capital inflow of about 250 million euros.
In the segment of large-scale projects, the Greenvolt Group has a portfolio of 13.2 gigawatts (GW) across 18 countries, following an asset rotation strategy by selling 70-80% of them.
In Poland, where the energy producer has operated for around 18 years now under Greenvolt Power, the portfolio includes 731 MW of wind energy, 1,878 MW of solar energy, and 2,712 MW of energy storage.
