Gunshots at four tax offices cause alarm in Greater Lisbon

At least four tax offices in the Greater Lisbon area have been targeted by gunfire, with the Judiciary Police (PJ) conducting an ongoing investigation but not yet identifying the suspect or suspects.

The latest attack, which occurred in Carcavelos, took place on Monday in broad daylight, around 3 PM. The unidentified suspect ascended the stairs and fired at the glass and door, causing alarm. The location reportedly lacks surveillance cameras.

In communication with Notícias ao Minuto, the PJ confirmed that an investigation is underway concerning incidents at four locations where gunfire has been reported, specifically two in Lisbon, one in Belém, and this latest one in Carcavelos.

Regarding the Belém attack, it is believed to have occurred between the late afternoon of October 24 and the early hours of October 27, during the weekend when the office was closed.

Details regarding the Lisbon attacks, including the specific offices and timing, have not been disclosed.
