In the official competition selection of the 19th edition of the Leffest, the jury highlighted the “originality, brilliance, and depth” of the “small gem” represented by the film Where To Land, directed by Hal Hartley, featuring Bill Sage, Kim Taff, Katelyn Sparks, and Robert John Burke.
The Grande Prémio do Júri João Bénard da Costa was awarded to Miroirs No.3, directed by Christian Petzold, starring Paula Beer, Barbara Auer, Matthias Brandt, Enno Trebs, and Philip Froissant, praised for its “excellent performances and enormous freedom in exploring a close and moving universe.”
