The Housing Price Index (IPHab) rose 7.6% year-on-year in the third quarter, 1.1 percentage points less than in the previous quarter and the smallest increase since the first quarter of 2021, INE announced today.
According to the National Statistics Institute (INE), from July to September, the prices of existing homes grew more intensely compared to new homes: 8.1% and 5.8% respectively.
Compared to the second quarter, IPHab rose by 1.8% (3.1% in the previous quarter), with the growth in new housing prices (2.0%) outstripping that of existing housing (1.8%).
