The prices of fuel are witnessing a significant drop this Monday. How much can you save by filling your tank today? For a 50-liter tank, the savings exceed three euros – let’s break down the numbers.
The average price of simple diesel was 1.584 euros per liter on Friday, and it is projected to decrease by 6.5 cents to 1.519 euros per liter.
With these calculations, filling a 50-liter tank on Friday cost 79.20 euros, whereas today it costs 75.95 euros, marking a reduction of 3.25 euros.
Meanwhile, the simple 95 gasoline, which was priced at 1.744 euros per liter on Friday, is expected to drop by 7.5 cents to 1.669 euros per liter.
The same 50-liter tank, which cost 87.20 euros on Friday, is now reduced to 83.45 euros today, resulting in a saving of 3.75 euros.
These figures are based on the average prices published by the Directorate-General for Energy and Geology (DGEG).
Fuel prices for both diesel and gasoline are cheaper today.
