The budget proposal was approved on Friday in the Council of Ministers, and today in Faro, during a campaign event for the local elections on October 12, Mariana Leitão expressed optimism.
“We have spoken with the Government several times, and I am confident that some of our proposals will be included in the State Budget,” Mariana Leitão said to reporters.
“We have a very clear vision for the country,” she stated, indicating a more detailed response would follow the budget’s delivery, as the document is not yet available.
The State Budget is to be submitted to the Assembly of the Republic on Friday, the last day of campaigning for the municipal elections on October 12.
