Consumer confidence and economic climate indicators increased again in April, with a rise in construction, public works, and services, but a decline in manufacturing and commerce, as reported by INE today.
According to the results of the ‘Business and Consumer Surveys’ of the National Statistics Institute (INE), “the consumer confidence indicator increased between December and April, after having decreased in the three preceding months, culminating in November with the lowest value since April 2020, when the pandemic began.
As for the indicator of economic climate, it rose between January and April, reversing the downward trend that began in March 2022.
