Data from the National Institute of Statistics indicates that prices rose by 19.73% in June compared to the same month in 2024, showing a decrease from the 20.74% increase registered in May, compared to the previous year.
In Luanda, prices increased by 18% in June, compared with an acceleration of 19.7% in May, relative to the same months last year.
The inflation rate of 19.73% is the lowest since January 2024, in a context where price increases have been decelerating since the peak of 31.09% recorded in July of the previous year.
