He started with symptoms while still in Portugal, but was hospitalized when he arrived in Italy.
Luca Re Sartù, a 24-year-old Italian man, died this Friday, a few days after returning from Lisbon, where he had been for World Youth Day. The young man, born in Marnate, died at San Gerardo hospital in Monza, Italy.
According to the Italian press, the symptoms started while still in Portugal. According to Milano Today, the young man began to have a high fever and extreme tiredness, but Portuguese doctors attributed the symptoms to tiredness from the previous days and the sudden change in temperature.
