A Euromillions player in France has hit the jackpot, winning 250 million euros in draw 066/2025 on Tuesday, August 19.
The top prize for the next draw, scheduled for Friday, August 22, will revert to the base amount of 17 million euros.
The second prize was awarded to seven players who matched five numbers and one star, including one player from Portugal. Each will receive over 270,000 euros.
The third prize, amounting to over 38,000 euros for matching all numbers, was awarded to seven individuals, none of whom are in Portugal.
Prizes over 5,000 euros are subject to a stamp duty tax at the legal rate of 20%, as per current legislation.
