Jerónimo Martins’ profit rose 36.3% in the first half, compared to the same period in 2022, to 356 million euros, the owner of Pingo Doce announced today.
In the first half of 2022, net profit had amounted to €261 million.
In a statement sent to the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM), Jerónimo Martins said that sales grew 22.1% to 14,513 million euros and that earnings before taxes, interest, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) increased 18.1% to 1,005 million euros.
