
“In 2025, the meeting reinforces the idea that courts should be understandable, accessible, and close to citizens,” emphasizes the Council of Superior Magistracy (CSM), the body responsible for the management and discipline of judges, in a statement.
The opening session is scheduled for 10 a.m. today at the Luísa Todi Municipal Forum and will feature speeches from the President of the Assembly of the Republic, José Pedro Aguiar-Branco, the President of the Supreme Court of Justice and by extension of the CSM, João Cura Mariano, the Minister of Justice, Rita Alarcão Júdice, and the Mayor of Setúbal, Maria das Dores Meira.
The closure, at 12 p.m. on Friday, will be led by the Vice-President of the CSM, Luís Azevedo Mendes.
