According to the promoter of the shows, in a statement released today, Kamasi Washington will perform on October 8 in Lisbon, at the Coliseu dos Recreios, and on October 9 in Porto, at the Hard Club.

The concerts in Portugal will take place as part of the tour to present the musician’s new album, “Fearless Movement”, which is due for release on May 3 and of which two songs have already been released: “Dream State”, with the collaboration of Andre 3000, and “Prologue”.

The album also features, among others, singers George Clinton and BJ The Chicago Kid, musician Thundercat, rapper D-Smoke and Taj and Ras Austin, from the hip-hop collective Coast Contra.
