“Knowledge, inspiration, and tastings.” The Live Restaurant is coming.

The Association of Hotels, Restaurants and Similar Establishments of Portugal (AHRESP) announced on Monday that it will host the first 2025 edition of “Restaurante ao Vivo” on April 8 at the Mercado de Sant’Ana in Leiria. This event is described as an initiative that brings knowledge, inspiration, and tastings to the stage.

Characterized as a day of complete immersion in the restaurant sector, “Restaurante ao Vivo” will gather business owners, chefs, producers, suppliers, distributors, managers, and partner entities in a unique experience of sharing and promoting gastronomy, as stated in a press release.

AHRESP explains that the event’s mission is to emphasize the importance of the restaurant industry as an economic, social, and cultural driver of the country. It aims to showcase the sector’s vitality, innovative capacity, and resilience.

Participants will have the opportunity to watch live demonstrations and taste everything prepared on stage, offering a sensory experience that combines flavor with direct engagement with industry leaders, the statement adds.

“Restaurante ao Vivo” is a free event, but registration is mandatory and can be completed through this link.
