Latin Grammy Awards tonight. Camané and Janeiro are nominated.

The fado singer Camané has been nominated with the album “Ao vivo no CCB — Homenagem a José Mário Branco” in the category of Best Portuguese Language Roots Music Album, while Janeiro is a contender for the Latin Grammy for Best Portuguese Language Contemporary Pop Album with the record “Fugacidade”.

Camané was previously nominated for the Latin Grammys in 2020, alongside pianist Mário Laginha, with the album “Aqui está-se sossegado”, which draws from the fado repertoire.

For Janeiro, this marks his debut in the Latin Grammy nominations, arriving with his third solo original album.

The 26th edition of the Latin Grammys is led by Puerto Rican musician Bad Bunny, with 12 nominations for the album “DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS (DTMF)”.

Bad Bunny will perform in Portugal on May 26 and 27, 2026, at the Estádio da Luz in Lisbon, as part of an international tour dedicated to that album.

The musician is nominated in categories including Album of the Year and Record and Song of the Year, with double nominations in each for the songs “Baile Inolvidable” and “DTmF”.

Also standing out in the list of Latin Grammy nominees is Brazilian trans artist Liniker, who has received six nominations with the album “Caju”.

Liniker, who in 2022 became the first transgender woman to win a Latin Grammy, will perform on October 10 at the Meo Arena in Lisbon and on the following day at Pavilhão Rosa Mota in Porto.
