The social-democratic leader and prime minister, Luís Montenegro, has five scheduled initiatives, starting in Cabeceiras de Basto, and then moving to Vieira do Minho.
He will remain in the Minho region, having lunch in Amares, before heading south to Entroncamento in the Santarém district. Montenegro will conclude the day with a dinner in Caldas da Rainha.
The secretary-general of the PS, José Luís Carneiro, will also be in the Leiria district, specifically in Nazaré, as part of the third of four planned initiatives that will take him from Ovar, stopping in Espinho (in the Aveiro district), to Lisbon, where he will close his agenda at the “Viver Lisboa” coalition rally.
The leaders of Livre, BE, and PAN will also be present at this dinner, as the coalition led by socialist Alexandra Leitão for the Lisbon municipality includes these four parties.
Earlier, the Livre spokesperson, Rui Tavares, will be with the BE leader Marisa Matias in Vila Nova de Gaia for a joint campaign event. However, Matias will start her day in Santo Tirso, and Tavares has an initiative in Porto before heading to the capital.
PAN leader Inês Sousa Real will have actions in Cascais before the “Viver Lisboa” coalition rally.
In contrast, the president of Chega begins the seventh day of his campaign for the municipal elections near the capital, namely in Moita, then moves to Lisbon, where he will visit the Chelas metro station.
After lunch in Sintra, André Ventura will be in Oeiras, ending the day in Torres Vedras.
The leader of Iniciativa Liberal, Mariana Leitão, will focus on activities exclusively in Leiria.
CDS-PP and PCP finish the day in the north, with centrist Nuno Melo passing through Ponte de Lima, in the Viana do Castelo district, and Torre de Moncorvo (Bragança), before concluding the agenda in Porto, where Paulo Raimundo starts today’s program.
The PCP secretary-general then heads to Matosinhos, also in the Porto district, and Viana do Castelo, wrapping up the agenda with a rally in Guimarães.
