The supermarket chain Lidl opened its 89th store in Portugal, in Vila Nova de Famalicão, in an investment valued at 11 million euros, which included the requalification of the surrounding public space.

This is the fourth Lidl store in the county, and it has led to the creation of 15 new jobs, thus adding about 100 employees in the county.

With an area of 1,400m2, the new Lidl store in Vila Nova de Famalicão follows the “current Lidl store construction line, which privileges simplicity and efficiency to provide the customer with a fast, simple and comfortable shopping experience” – says the company.

The store is located on Av. Eng. Pinheiro Braga and is open daily from 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., making available a parking lot with about 160 spaces.
