The high-speed rail link between Lisbon and Porto was today one of 134 projects selected by the European Commission for funding by the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF), for a total of seven billion euros.
According to the European Commission, of the 134 projects chosen to receive grants from the CEF, the European Union’s (EU) program for investment in transport infrastructure, five are in Portugal, with funding estimated at more than 900,000 euros, one of which is national, and the rest are multi-country projects with the participation of a national entity.
