
The Lisbon stock exchange closed lower today, with the PSI index declining by 0.47% to 7,409.73 points, in line with the negative trend across Europe.
Of the 15 listed companies on the PSI, 11 declined while four advanced.
Leading the losses was BCP, which dropped 1.81% to 0.65 euros.
Significant declines also included Semapa, which decreased by 1.10% to 16.20 euros, and EDP Renováveis, which fell 1.02% to 9.70 euros.
Companies with decreases under 1% included Navigator (3.26 euros), Jerónimo Martins (20.92 euros), Altri (4.86 euros), Mota-Engil (3.58 euros), Galp (15.64 euros), Corticeira Amorim (7.76 euros), Ibersol (9.34 euros), and NOS (3.77 euros).
On the upside, REN led gains, climbing 1.31% to 3.10 euros.
Companies with gains under 1% included Sonae SGPS (1.18 euros), EDP (3.69 euros), and CTT (7.17 euros).
Elsewhere in Europe, Paris fell 0.69%, Frankfurt 0.35%, London 0.19%, and Madrid 0.08%.
