Of the 15 companies listed on the PSI, 10 recorded a decrease, while five saw increases.
REN led the declines, dropping 1.96% to 3.00 euros.
Significant decreases also included Jerónimo Martins, which fell 1.57% to 21.36 euros, and Altri, which decreased 1.33% to 4.84 euros.
The companies showing decreases of less than 1% included BCP (0.68 euros), CTT (7.56 euros), Corticeira Amorim (7.58 euros), Sonae SGPS (1.25 euros), Ibersol (9.58 euros), EDP Renováveis (10.30 euros), and EDP (3.83 euros).
Conversely, Mota-Engil led the gains, rising 3.15% to 4.32 euros.
Other gains under 1% were recorded by Semapa (17.46 euros), Galp (16.88 euros), Navigator (3.11 euros), and NOS (3.61 euros).
In the rest of Europe, Frankfurt fell by 1.02%, London by 0.43%, Paris also by 0.43%, and Madrid by 0.12%.
