
Out of the 15 companies listed on the PSI index, 11 experienced declines while four saw increases.
Leading the declines was Mota-Engil, which fell 2.54% to 4.07 euros, followed by EDPR, dropping 2.31% to 9.50 euros, and CTT, which decreased 2.29% to 7.26 euros.
Other companies that closed with losses included Altri (down 1.35% to 5.12 euros), NOS (down 1.29% to 3.82 euros), Sonae (down 1.16% to 1.19 euros), Corticeira Amorim (down 1.01% to 7.82 euros), Navigator (down 0.96% to 3.30 euros), REN (down 0.66% to 3.01 euros), EDP (down 0.61% to 3.61 euros), and Jerónimo Martins (down 0.09% to 21.56 euros).
The gains were led by Ibersol, which advanced 1.49% to 10.2 euros, with just three other companies closing in the positive: Semapa (up 0.74% to 16.30 euros), Galp (up 0.54% to 15.78 euros), and BCP (up 0.45% to 0.67 euros).
The major European markets also closed mostly with losses, largely above 1%, due to the impact of Israel’s attack on Iran.
Paris closed down 1.04%, Frankfurt fell 1.07%, Madrid lost 1.27%, and Milan dropped by 1.28%. London saw a more modest decline of 0.39%.
The markets reflected the impact of Israel’s attack on Iran, raising concerns about the global oil supply.
In this context, oil recorded a sharp increase, reaching up to 14%.
