Lisbon Stock Exchange closes higher with Jerónimo Martins up 4.58%

Out of the 15 listed companies within the PSI index, 14 saw their shares rise while NOS fell by 9.60% to 3.72 euros.

Jerónimo Martins led the upward trend with a 4.58% increase, closing at 21.90 euros.

Noteworthy gains were also observed in EDP Renováveis, which added 2.62% to reach 7.84 euros; Semapa, which climbed 2.15% to 16.07 euros; Altri, rising 1.93% to 6.30 euros; CTT, which increased by 1.83% to 7.25 euros; and REN, which advanced 1.76% to 2.89 euros.

Additionally, EDP gained 1.68% closing at 3.32 euros; Mota-Engil rose by 1.54% to 3.30 euros; Sonae SGPS increased by 1.35% to 1.05 euros; BCP saw a lift of 1.27% closing at 0.54 euros; and Navigator grew by 1.17% to 3.28 euros.

With gains below 1%, Ibersol stood at 9.00 euros, Galp at 13.55 euros, and Corticeira Amorim at 7.37 euros.

Across the rest of Europe, markets also saw positive movements, with Madrid up by 0.72%, London by 0.64%, Paris by 0.56%, and Frankfurt by 0.41%.
