
Out of the 15 companies listed on the PSI index, eight saw gains, six experienced declines, and NOS remained unchanged at 3.83 euros.
Leading the gains was Sonae SGPS, which surged by 8.70% to 1.27 euros.
Sonae announced on Wednesday that its shareholder-attributable profits rose by 77.2% year-on-year in the first quarter, reaching 43 million euros.
Among other significant gainers were Ibersol, which advanced 2.99% to 9.64 euros, BCP, which rose 1.90% to 0.61 euros, and Navigator, which increased 1% to 3.64 euros.
Gains of less than 1% were seen by Altri (6.21 euros), Jerónimo Martins (22.02 euros), CTT (7.27 euros), and REN (2.88 euros).
Conversely, EDP Renováveis led the declines, falling 5.26% to 8.55 euros, followed by Corticeira Amorim, which dropped 1.65% to 8.35 euros.
Losses of less than 1% were registered by EDP (3.48 euros), Galp (13.81 euros), Semapa (18.42 euros), and Mota-Engil (4.80 euros).
Elsewhere in Europe, Paris decreased by 0.58%, London by 0.54%, Frankfurt by 0.51%, and Madrid by 0.25%.
