
Nine of the 15 companies listed in the national benchmark index ended in negative territory, five closed in positive territory, and Galp Energia remained unchanged at 16.45 euros.
Leading the declines was EDP Renováveis, which fell 3.08% to 10.37 euros, a decline mirrored by Mota-Engil, which was priced at 5.03 euros.
The parent company EDP slipped 1.65% to 3.82 euros, while REN dropped 1.16% to 2.98 euros. Meanwhile, CTT, which announced the temporary suspension of postal shipments of goods to the United States, decreased by 1.15% to 7.73 euros.
On the gaining side, Jerónimo Martins advanced 0.67% to 21.04 euros, NOS rose 0.63% to 3.98 euros, and Corticeira Amorim increased by 0.38% to 7.36 euros.
Elsewhere in Europe, Spain’s IBEX-35 fell 0.85%, France’s CAC lost 1.59%, and Germany’s DAX slid 0.37%, while the UK’s FTSE 100 gained 0.13%.
